Installation Displacement Assembly
Multi-wire termination is possible with insulation displacement connectors because the termination forces are relatively low. In addition, this technology provides a bonus in eliminating the wire stripping operation required in crimping. Consequently, in many electronic applications, mass termination is employed where multi-wire cables are used. Our custom work ensures continuity in wire gauge, wire-to-wire spacing, insulation thickness, insulation type, application tooling, and cable alignment to eliminate unreliable connections, in both open and short circuits.
